SHARON HARVEY Art
“I attempt to grasp the feeling of a place before it disintegrates allowing the painting to become a metaphor for the lived experience.”
Be it river, sea, or lake I am always drawn to water. A favourite walk is always a coastal path - cliffs towering over hidden coves exposed only by the tides: an endless sky and far horizon. I am as fascinated by the Hebridean Scottish Islands as I am by the Welsh heritage coastline and the drama and tales of smuggling in Cornwall.
“I am interested in pushing boundaries and am always trying to grow my understanding of what and how we see contemporary painting”
