Floriography

This was the first painting in this series. I hadnt heard of the term Floriography previously but on researching Floriography is simply a fancy name for the language of flowers. Within the art of floriography, every flower carries its own special meaning or symbolism, and this can also be influenced by its variety and colour meanings. Flowers have always meant so much to me. Flowers have brought hope when things are difficult and joy during celebrations.
